I don't consider it open world at all, there are some optional scenes but they have no real consequence, and no alternate endings. It's a chapter-based game. King's Quest 1 is more open world

Ghost in the Shell makes wayyyy more sense now, i need to watch that anime series again.

It’s just not for you. This video was a mistake, it’s not a very smart one (when you said "poor handling" you proved that) but the game is not flawless, the money system is not implemented well, movement is still a bit clunky, and the story can conflict with gameplay more obviously due to the realism and stronger characters, but basically all your criticisms come down to your criticising it for being…a game. They’re not smart criticisms when you talk about various aspects of the "design" not playing well together or its competing interests, yet totally fail to acknowledge how crucial a role player autonomy plays in this. You can criticise Vice City and San Andreas for many of the same things, and they’d be just as redundant a criticism there too. It’s easy to break the illusion of any game that is selling one, why is it a GTA 4 problem? Niko defending immigrants for their labour is not him complaining about his own treatment by the system. You didn’t think this video through properly at all.

Phantom Pain does something incredibly poignant in explaining how Ocelot was the critical actor in MGS4 by taking the fall. The only way that the AIs could possibly be stopped was an act of self-deception so strong that it would lead to the AIs believing it - giving Solid Snake the opening he needed to complete his mission that had been purpose built to fail. He became the villain so as to destroy the villain's chance of winning - because if it wasn't him, it would be someone else. It's the solution to the problem posed to Raiden by the AIs in MGS2 - that context is something that we ourselves control and it can change the world. And the most effective ways to change the world are not on the paths of angels. Oh and on a tangent Ocelot's deception is also likely the inspiration behind the plot of Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning, eyes peeled.

I just wish we had gotten that MGSV TPP Chapter 3 to properly explore and expand upon on concepts, themes and also to wrap up the story nicely. I hope Kojima Productions gets the MGS IP. It'd be amazing if they could make Capter 3 and/or remake Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 into a single huge game.

GTA 4 lacks the map diversity the same city, SA brought three cities + countryside and desert and 5 retained it, also GTA 4's lack of ability to buy properties and store cars in garages, and story is overrated Niko's off screen war vet story has zero role in game other than finding Darko! Hated GTA 4 and find it overrated. But thats just me..

There's a small problem with Venom being the Big Boss from MG 1995, which i don't see a lot of people talk about. Big Boss in outer heaven is a simple soldier with a relatively small army that dies from a few rockets. Big Boss in zanzibar land(despite zanzibar's possible connections with tselinoyarsk and how iconic it would be for Naked to build his nation there, years after op Snake Eater) on the other hand is heavily implied to be ATLEAST a cyborg, has a whole nation of people which were taken from all around the globe, and has a history of managing child soldiers. I don't know about Kojima, but to me, the latter seems more fitting for Venom, rather for actual Boss, who dare I remind you - was rebuilding his base IN THE SHADOWS the whole time. I don't think he would be able to do much AND stay in the shadow of his body double. Yes, the fact that Kaz would turn against Venom is weird, but considering that Kazuhira's main target - Naked, was eliminated in the previous game, it is no doubt that he COULD rat out Venom and turn against him. Keep in mind that in terms of loyalty this guy is no better than Huey.
